Licensing and rights

  1. By contributing to this curriculum, you agree that your contribution is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license.
  2. The curriculum is a collective work: contributors retain copyright to their own contributions, while HackYourFuture owns the structure and compilation of the curriculum, maintains it, and distributes it under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
  3. Once a contribution is published under this license, the license grant is irrevocable. This means that existing published contributions cannot later be withdrawn or restricted, although contributors remain free to reuse their own work elsewhere under the same license.
  4. By submitting a contribution, you indicate that, to the best of your knowledge, the content is your own work or material you are allowed to share under this license. If third-party material is included, its source and license must be clearly indicated.
  5. HackYourFuture is a non-profit organization. The curriculum is created to provide free, open education and is not sold or commercialized. HackYourFuture does not use the curriculum to generate profit.

We do not need to re-invent the wheel. It’s possible to link to external resources such as youtube videos or online text tutorials / articles.

Study resources

Those resources allow us to use their content for non-commercial use. Don’t forget to add a link to the original content if you copy something.
