Let’s get practical

  1. Explain-back. In your own words (3–5 sentences, to a mentor or in the group channel): what is a context window, and why does a long chat degrade?
  2. Setup proof. Screenshot of claude --version output and of a Claude Code session running inside VS Code.
  3. Hallucination hunt. Ask Claude (in a chat) a question about a library or API you know well, phrased to invite detail. Find one claim that is wrong or unverifiable and write down how you caught it. The point: build the reflex that confident ≠ correct.
  4. **CLAUDE.md steering test.** After writing your CLAUDE.md, ask the agent to do something that violates one of your rules. Observe how it responds. Share the rule and the agent's reaction in the group channel.
