Implementation plan:

• What is a service/daemon — long-running background processes
• systemctl: start, stop, restart, status, enable/disable
• Viewing logs with journalctl and /var/log/
• Filtering logs: by time, by unit, by priority
• Environment variables: recap export, then .bashrc, .profile, /etc/environment
• The PATH variable — what it is and why it matters
• Practice: start/stop a service (e.g. nginx), inspect its logs, set a persistent env var
