Mentor Support
Each team will be assigned a mentor for the duration of the project. Mentors are here to support you, so don’t hesitate to contact them for help.
What your mentor will do:
- Have an introduction call with you, help you to pick an idea.
- Join the mid-project check-in to review progress and help with blockers.
- Be available on Slack for questions during the project.
What your mentor will not do:
- Write code for you.
- Make architectural decisions for you. They may challenge your choices and give their recommendation, but the decision is yours.
- Debug your application. They will point you in the right direction, not hand you the fix.
Come to every mentor interaction prepared. Know what you've done, what's blocking you, and what you need help with.
