This week, you'll start your journey into the wonderful world of programming. We'll be using the programming language JavaScript. You'll learn about the basic building blocks of programming: variables, conditions, and numbers. We'll start with the most basic concepts, and in the coming weeks, you'll discover more interesting programming capabilities. Each week, you'll gain more tools to build increasingly complex applications.
While we are using JavaScript to illustrate these concepts, remember that what you learn applies to any programming language. Languages may differ in syntax - the arrangement of words that makes them understandable, but the functionality remains the same.
In addition to JavaScript, we'll continue learning Git. This week, we'll focus on the core functionality of Git: branches. This topic can be difficult for beginners, so we'll take small steps to get comfortable with this complex but essential Git feature.
Finally, this week we'll introduce AI and how it affects the way we write applications and solve problems. This week, we'll provide a basic introduction and In later weeks, we'll give you more tools for working with AI.
